FIT Ayrshire Dads got their running shoes on last week and took part in a giant relay race.
The 5K event was held at Eglington Park and saw scores of runners turn up to take part.
The relay winners were John McGeachie, Richie Harkin and Craig Rodgers.
Even those who didn’t go home with a winner’s medal still managed some personal bests and all the runners were cheered on by their friends and families who turned out the show their support.
Fit Ayrshire Dads founder Kevin Brown said the even was a huge success.
He said: “Thanks also to everybody who came to cheer on the guys, the marshalls, the cake makers and to prep co for their kind sponsorship of the event.
“A great day was had by everybody and we can’t wait for the next FAD event.
“We have created something special here and if anyone hasn’t been to an event yet, get along to the next one.”
