A MAN was rushed to hospital last night after he was hit by a van in Irvine.
At around 6pm, Police and Ambulance personnel were called to the Riverway Retail Park, near to McDonald's and Marks and Spencer, following reports that a man had been injured after a collision with a vehicle.
A 44-year-old man was taken to Crosshouse Hospital with a suspected fractured leg and was kept in for treatment.
Police confirmed that no charges would be brought forward.
