A SCHOOLBOY was taken to hospital after he was struck by a car on Saturday afternoon.
Shortly after 4pm, police and ambulance personnel were tasked to Ardrossan’s Hill Place after an 11-year-old boy was hit with a car whilst travelling on his bike.
The youngster spent a night under observation at hospital but was later released.
Acting Chief Inspector Colin Convery told the Herald: “I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time or any witnesses to contact Police Scotland on 101.”
