Irvine man arrested for alleged car theft and traffic offences
An Irvine man has been arrested after allegedly being involved in the theft of a car.
The 21-year-old male was arrested over the offence as well as alleged road traffic offences.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "We can confirm that a 20-year-old man from Irvine has been arrested in connection with the alleged theft of a motor vehicle and alleged road traffic offences.
"He was held in custody and due to appear in court."
