POLICE are hunting an armed robber who held up an Irvine bookmakers at knifepoint tonight.
The knife-wielding assailant targeted Coral Bookmakers in Burns Crescent, Girdle Toll at around 6.20pm tonight (Sunday, December 9).

No one was injured in the incident and police say “inquiries are still on going”.
He is described as being of medium build and wearing a black jacket with the hood up, a black balaclava covering his face with a skip hat, and carrying a brown backpack.
