LINE Of Duty star Martin Compston was in his element as he visited Glasgow’s Caledonian Uni for a Q and A with students - but he claims he hates people doing things to become millionaires.
The lovely actor, who is definitely worth a few bob after some prime acting roles, explained that passion should be behind everything you do.
He said: “One of the things I hate as an actor is when a writer is telling you how you should feel.
“I read one script and it said ‘and the audience’s popcorn is jumping everywhere’.
“Don’t try and write something to be a millionaire. Write something to enjoy writing it.”
Martin said of his honorary degree: “I still can’t believe they gave me it.
“I feel like I must have bribed somebody.”
