The annual Reclaim the Night walk, which aims to end violence towards women, was held in Irvine last Thursday evening.
The walk was part of the White Ribbon 16 Days of Action – a worldwide movement which directly addresses men so they understand the scale of the problem, and become part of the solution.
Led by a piper, the walk began shortly after 5pm at Trinity Church steps at Bridgegate, through the shopping mall with the finale taking place at the Harbour Arts Centre.
