Man arrested in connection with Saltcoats rape
POLICE have arrested a man in connection with the rape of a 67-year-old woman in Saltcoats on Saturday, December 8.
Officers confirmed this afternoon that they had detained and charged a 39-year-old man in connection with the incident and he is due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court tomorrow (Friday, December 21).
A full report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
