GLEBE Primary held a special going away assembly to mark its head teachers retirement after more than 30 years.
A special assembly was held for Mrs MacKenzie, Glebe head teacher for 33 years, where she was presented with a scrap book of memories by Primary 1 pupil Leah and Primary 7 pupil Ross.
Children and staff dressed in tartan for the occasion and performed various Scottish songs and dances at the event on Wednesday, December 19, which was co-ordinated by deputy head Sandra Law and Sheena McAdam.
Best of luck to Mrs MacKenzie from all at the Irvine Times and well done Glebe Primary for organising such a memorable farewell party.
