The International Historical, Cultural and Geographical Agency held its annual Burn’s Supper last week.
The event took place in Stevenston’s Champion Shell Inn on Monday, January 21.
A spokesperson from the agency said that there was “a superb historical documentary on Robert Burns’ life with an atmosphere of good food, fun and laughter”.
The agency wishes to thank the proprietor, chef and Shell Inn staff for all their support.
The agency will next meet at the Shell Inn on Monday, February 4.
The main archive will be archaeology research into ‘pub digs’ for possible treasure. This will be followed by the tea/coffee break, topics of local discussion and the second archive – The Natural History of Cats.
An agency rep visited Saltcoats Heritage Centre for the opening of the Nobel display of data and history. It was accumulated by the Nobel Civic Engine, a voluntary group based at the former ICI.
The agency wish them all the best of luck in their display.
