A woman has been reported after a bust at an Irvine house revealed a quantity of Class A drugs.
On Saturday, February 2, police acting under a warrant attended an address in the town’ s Green Avenue.
A quantity of Class A drugs were recovered along with cash and a 38-year-old woman was arrested in relation to the alleged supply of Class A drugs.
In addition to the female, a 47-year-old male was found to be in possession of alleged controlled drugs.
Chief Inspector Brian Shaw of North Ayrshire Police said: “We are continuing to tackle drug dealing and misuse in all areas of North Ayrshire.
“I am exceptionally pleased that the local police in this particular case followed it through from start to finish.
“It is important that communities know that local police are tackling this issue and this will continue.”
