Stanley Primary’ s cross country success
STANLEY Primary pupils race d to success at the North Ayrshire Schools Cross Country League.
The first race of the league took place at the playing fields at St Matthew’s Academy.
Stanley Primary’s Kenzie Pollock came second in the Boys P5 race and Eilidh Dunwoodie managed thir d place in the Girls P6 section.
Lesley Richardson, teacher at Stanley Primary, said: “The Stanley team did really well in the North Ayrshire Schools Cros s Country League.
“All the kids put in a great performance.
“Special mention to Kenzi e Pollock from P5 wh o go t a silve r medal fo r being second and Eilidh Dunwoodie from P6 who got a bronze. Just behin d her and narrowly missing out on a medal was Sophie McGinn. ”
