A 51-year-old woman has admitted to biting a police officer while on bail.
Jacqueline Cuthill, from Saltcoats, appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week and pled guilty to two charges.
Cuthill shouted and swore and acted aggressively towards police at her home in Ivanhoe Drive on September 29, 2018.
She later bit a policewoman on the body at Saltcoats Police Station.
At the time of the offences, Cuthill was on bail.
Sentence was deferred for social work reports until March 12.
