Police are reappealling for help to trace a missing 19-year-old as his family grow increasingly concerned.

Leo Mills, who stays at accommodation in Boyle Street, was last seen by staff there around 1pm on Saturday, February 9.

His family reported him missing on Monday, February 11.

Inspector John Deans from Irvine Police Station said: “Police and Leo’s family are growing increasingly concerned for his wellbeing and we are appealing for anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to come forward.

“He is known to spend time in the Irvine area and also has a friend in Johnstone, and I would urge anyone who thinks they may have seen him to let us know.

“I would also appeal to Leo directly to please get in touch with someone to confirm he is safe and well. He is not in any trouble, we just want to know that he is ok.
