International opera star performing in Irvine's Townhouse this week
AN international Opera star will perform in Irvine this week.
Soraya Mafi is preparing to perform a unique recital of songs and arias in Irvine’s Townhouse at 7pm Thursday, March 14.
The performance takes place in the Burns Suite with entry costing £7.
The audience will have the opportunity to enjoy hearing highlights of some roles which she will perform in full for the first time this year, including Gretel in Hansel and Gretel (Grange Park Opera), Susanna in The Marriage of Figaro (Welsh National Opera) and Gilda in Rigoletto (Seattle Opera).
The recital series was launched last year and has been an amazing success.
