CRAFTY cooks at an Irvine school rose to the occasion during a charity baking contest.
Youngsters at Annick Primary took part in the Great Annick Bake Off to raise money for next year’s Primary 7 trip to Arran.
The budding bakers got to work at home and brought in their tasty treats for the school’s judging panel who had to make difficult decisions in choosing the winners.
Following the contest the budding bakers then held a bake sale after school where mums, dads, grans and papas got the chance to snap up the delicious offerings.
The school managed to raise more than £600 for the Arran fundraising appeal and the school thanks the community for the amazing response.
