Irvine nursery cook retires after near eleven years
A much-loved staff member at an Irvine nursery retired last week.
Elizabeth McEvoy retired last week after nearly 11 years serving as cook at Irvine’s Owl and Pussycat Nursery.
And staff at the nursery organised a special going away party for her on Friday, April 5.
Claire Gorman of the Owl and Pussycat Nursery said: “It went really well, she’ll be sadly missed. Come July this year it would have been 11 years.
“We got lots of wee gifts and things like that and then we organised a surprise drinks at night in Irvine.”
