Two Irvine and Kilwinning men both turned up on two top primetime TV game shows last night.
Retired Woodlands Primary head teacher Tom Barclay, who lived in Irvine and now lives in Kilwinning, appeared on STV show The Chase last night.
And Irvine man Mark Cowan, who works for a bank and now lives in Glasgow, turned up on Pointless on Thursday joined by his team mate Ronnie.
Keen holiday-goer Tom managed to rake up £4,000 for the total, then went head-to-head with the chaser managing to get through to the final chase.
However in the final round, Tom and fellow contestant Chris were unfortunately both taken out in under a minute by The Chaser.
After not winning on the night, Mark will take a second chance on today’s episode of the BBC quiz show Pointless.
