Residents hit by power cut across KA12 area of Irvine
Residents across Irvine have been hit by power cut this morning.
Scottish Power have apologised for any inconvinience and say engineers are currently working to restore power to the KA12 area.
A spokesperson said: "We are aware of a power cut in KA12 Irvine. Our engineers are working to restore supplies.
"Sorry for the inconvenience."
KA Leisure said The Portal is currently closed due to the power failure, while Irvine Library have advised there will be no access to its computers.
Meanwhile the Scottish Maritime Museum is advising that it is still open and currently running on battery power.
