New art exhibit launches at the HAC
An exhibition of new figurative paintings, drawings, etchings and other work by an award-winning graduate will be on display at the Harbour Arts Centre from Friday, May 17.
The ‘Inside Out’ exhibition will showcase the work of Maree Meahan Hughes who graduated from the Glasgow School of Art and is now based at Irvine’s Courtyard Studios.
Her work is insured by simple things like the joy of making a rag doll, motherhood and the fanfare of colours found in Scottish landscapes.
The display is free to attend and will run until Friday, June 28.
