Trading Standards urge residents to report suspicious callers
Irvine residents are being urged to call North Ayrshire Trading Standards if they see someone knocking doors offering to do work in a bid to tackle doorstep crime.
Members of the public should call 01294 310100 if they see anything suspicious in order to help and protect the more vulnerable members of the community.
Police can be contacted on 101 (always ring 999 in an emergency).
