Supermarket staff raised a tremendous amount for a brain tumour charity.
Ally from the Irvine store was one of five Asda colleagues to climb Goat Fell earlier in the year to raise money for Brain Tumour Research.
Ally, pictured on the left, was inspired to help after friend Craig (third on the right) was diagnosed with a brain tumour.
Ally was part of a 60-strong group who scaled the mountain – the highest point on the Isle of Arran – helping Craig raise £8,000 for the charity.
ASDA’s Irvine store community champion Emma helped secure a further top-up donation of £500 from the Asda Foundation.
Emma said: “Craig underwent surgery and luckily he’s now fighting fit and in full health.”
