Youngsters from a Kilwinning primary school have got behind the town’s clean-up campaign.

Pupils from Blacklands Primary were at Kilwinning Sports Club last week to kick off their Health Week with a run around the club’s mile track.

While they were there they youngsters backed the Promoting Kilwinning’s Spring Clean-Up Campaign which saw a two-day litter pick taking place in and around the club last weekend.

The 19th Ayrshire Scouts, Cubs or Beavers will also be having several clean-ups around the town on Saturday, May 25.

The Scouts will meet at the Scout hut at 10am till noon. The cubs and beavers will meet at Cranberry Moss and the Wednesday Scouts will clean up around the Nethermains area.

Exact times will be posted on the Promoting Kilwinning Facebook page.

Accountancy in Bankruptcy Staff are planning to clean up the cycle path underpass to St. Winning’s Primary. Time and date to be confirmed.

All schools have clean-ups so ask when your child’s school is having theirs.
