THE closure of Auchenharvie Leisure Centre's gym has been delayed by at least five days, KA Leisure have announced. 

The gym has been closed since May 11 and was due to open back up on Monday, June 3 but this has been delayed until the following weekend. 

KA Leisure said in a statement: "Unfortunately, due to additional structural work required by our building contractor, we are sorry to announce that the revised opening of the fitness suite will now be Saturday, June 8 at 9am.

"We will be sharing some pictures of the work shortly. We are equally disappointed about this unexpected delay but can’t wait to show you the new and exciting fitness suite."
