Abbey Primary pupils have secured another eco flag last week.
The Kilwinning school received the accolade for the fifth time for the continued work of their eco-committee.
Activities run at the school included litter picking, a competition for anti-litter posters which were displayed around the school, pupils also took part in a walk to school week and learning about plants.
The pupils also held a water survey in the school to find out how much was being used. The school added this was the school’s fifth flag for the schools continued environmental work.
The criteria of the Green Flag Award are based on the Seven Elements, which are the core of the Eco-Schools programme in every country.
Well done to all involved.
