The Ayrshire branch of the Scottish Wildlife Trust has received a cheque of £4,000 from the Tesco Bags of Help programme.
The scheme sees money raised by the carrier bag charge in Tesco stores being used to fund thousands of community projects across the country.
The award will be used to buy tools to support the various volunteer programmes that the Wildlife Trust runs in Ayrshire.
The branch said this week: “Many thanks to everyone who voted for us and to the Tesco Irvine Community team who presented us with the cheque.”
