Plans to build nearly 200 new homes in Kilwinning have been submitted to planning chiefs.

An application to build 198 houses at a site south of Wood Farm, Dalry Road was submitted by Taylor Wimpey – who state that around 205 direct and indirect jobs would be created during building.

Irvine Times:

The proposed development includes nine house types ranging from two, three and four-bedroom properties and would create a new access point from Dalry Road and a secondary point of access will be provided for emergency access.

The applicant states the development will bring a choice of house types and sizes, with a variety of affordable homes.

The plans will be discussed by Kilwinning Community Council on June 20 at 7pm in Kilwinning Academy and are on the NAC website.
