Firefighters were tackling a blaze at an iconic Saltcoats building this evening after a fire caught hold.
The crews battled the fire at the building on Montgomerie Crescent, known as Veronica’s House, which started on Wednesday evening (June 26).
It is unclear as of yet how the fire started.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue service said they were called to the fire around 8.20pm this evening and that Police Scotland were also at the scene.
