TWINKLE-TOED performers from and Irvine dance school put their best foot forward to celebrate 50 years on stage.

Dancers from the Janice Marshall Stage School put on the show of their lives at the Palace Theatre in Kilmarnock last week.

Every year the youngsters put on their annual show, but this year the show was in celebration of the stage school’s 50th anniversary.

Antonia Boot, who runs the school said: “We had such a great time at our 50th Anniversary Showcase at The Palace Theatre, Kilmarnock and we truly hope that everyone who joined us enjoyed themselves as much as we did.

“We are so proud of all the students for their performances.”

The Irvine Times went along to the school’s dress rehearsal a few days before the main event to get a taste of the show.
