A distraught pet owner has appealed to the people of Irvine to help find her beloved dog.
Emma McDougall's four-year-old dog Buster ran away at around 11.30am yesterday (Tuesday, July 16) from an address in Stewart Drive.
The devastated 25-year-old has been hunting since the Shi Tzu- lhasa-cross vanished yesterday afternoon and is hoping someone has taken him in to give him shelter.
Speaking through tears, she said: "He will be scared. We have been searching til late last night and then out again from 7am this morning and we still can't find him.
"There have been sightings in Muir Drive, Thornhouse Avenue but we just can't find him."
