NHS Ayrshire and Arran is looking for a new member to join its board as a Whistleblowing Champion.
The role is part of a national development which will see dedicated Whistleblowing Champions recruited to every health board in Scotland by the end of 2019.
Martin Cheyne, chairman of Ayrshire and Arran NHS board, said: “This is a great opportunity for anyone with an interest in their local health service to become more involved in decision making and in ensuring the accountability of the executive Board members.
“As well as having a remit as the Whistleblowing Champion you will also be a non-executive member of the board.
“You will have a key role in supporting the delivery of the organisation’s strategic direction, in addition to scrutinising performance and discharging governance and accountability functions.”
