SAINSBURY’S stores have introduced a sunflower lanyard for customers with a hidden condition or disability.
By using the lanyard, staff will know that you may like extra support with your shopping.
Staff will offer support such as opening a new checkout lane, assisting with finding shopping items or simply giving you more time at the checkout.
You can ask a store member if you would like a lanyard or if you have any questions about the initiative.
Sainsbury’s have stores in Irvine and Saltcoats.
