Ayrshire College is hosting a ‘Meet the Astronaut’ event on Tuesday, August 27, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11.
The event will take place at Ayrshire College’s Ayr Campus between 6.30pm and 8.30pm.
Those attending will be able to hear from two NASA astronauts – Michael Baker and Rick Hieb – about their experiences in space and how they became astronauts. In addition, Dr David Alexander will be in attendance.
