A man was arrested following a 'disturbance' in Irvine.
Four police cars, two vans and two ambulances were spotted on Irvine High Street on Sunday evening.
Police confirmed that a 31-year-old man had been arrested and charged following the call-out.
A man and a teenage boy were injured as a result of the incident and police are continuing inquiries.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “Around 6.10pm, police were called to a disturbance in Irvine High Street. A 16-year-old and 48-year-old man were injured.
“A 31-year-old man has been arrested and charged and was due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court. Inquiries continue.”
