A teen who assaulted two women in Irvine is awaiting sentence.

Chelsea McInally attacked a 16-year-old at Asda in Irvine on June 2 this year.

Kilmarnock Sheriff Court heard how the 18-year-old struck the teenager on the body, pulled her to the ground, and kicked her on the head and body.

McInally also admitted assaulting her partner on July 13 this year.

The court heard McInally, of Morar Place, repeatedly pursued the woman, seized her by the body, repeatedly punched her on the head and body, seized her by the hair, punched, kicked and pulled her to the ground in the Rivergate Shopping Centre.

McInally pled guilty to both attacks at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week.

She will return to court on September 26 for sentencing.
