Plenty of fun was had on Saturday at the Argyle Community Association’s Fun Day.
Families flocked to pose for photos with owls from Owl Magic, they gathered round the animals at the petting zoo and exhausted themselves with games of laser tag.
Association chair Yvonne Attwood said: “There was a great turnout and the weather was good.
“It couldn’t have gone better.”
Artie Trezise, of the entertainment group Singing Kettle, told tales and performed for the kids who were spoilt for choice.
They could join Silly Science to make slime, or show their creativity with Art Party Crafts.
Everything was free, including food a drinks served from the kitchen.
A feast of hotdogs, burgers, tea and juice was laid out.
Not only that, there were also both a candy floss and ice-cream machines.
Mrs Attwood said: “I would like to thank the Argyle Community Association, community development teams from North Ayrshire, the Ardrossan Sea Cadets, Link-up workers, all the helpers, and the whole community who made it a success.”
