An eight-year-old from Stevenston raised more than £3,000 to help sick children.
Nieve McBlain raised the amazing amount along with 20 family and friends by completing the Oor Wullie Big Walk in aid of Glasgow Children’s Hospital last month (August 19).
Nieve presented the charity with a massive total of £3,437.66, which will go to the Schiehallion Ward.
Nieve has been attending the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow since February 19 and continues to attend for check ups and x-rays after a recent diagnosis of Undifferentiated Sarcoma.
And Nieve wanted to do something in return to the hospital for all the care she has been receiving.
She wished to thank all family, friends and local shops who kindly sponsored and everyone who took part and everyone who gave donations.
