IT WAS back to business for the tiny dancers of Janice Marshall Stage School this week.

The twinkle-toed youngsters donned their tutus and put their best foot forward as they returned to the dance school after the Summer break.

The new term saw lots of new small faces getting put through their paces by dance teachers Miss Vanessa and Miss Yolanda in the pre school and nursery groups.

Janice Marshall Stage School celebrated it’s 50th birthday earlier this year, after first opening its doors in Irvine in 1969.

The school offer a variety of classes including Royal Academy of Dance Ballet, ISTD Modern and ISTD Tap, amongst others.

As soon as children are up on their feet they are welcomed through the JMSS doors and former pupils have gone on to forge successful careers in the stage and screen over the five decades the school has been open.
