AN SNP MP has drenched herself in pink to raise awareness of Breast Cancer.
Central Ayrshire MP Dr Philippa Whitford has got behind the ‘wear it pink’ fundraiser’ which takes place on Friday, October 18.
Dr Whitford hosts the annual ‘Wear it Pink’ photocall at Westminster with Breast Cancer Now to encourage MPs to dress up and promote the event in their constituency.
As she is recovering from an ankle fracture, this year she even ‘pinked up’ her moonboot and crutches as part of the promotional campaign.
Since launching in 2002, ‘Wear it Pink’ has raised over £33 million for the charity Breast Cancer Now.
