A 35-year-old was arrested for shouting abuse at Irvine police at the weekend.
The man was arrested after shouting, swearing and behaving in a disorderly manner at around 11.30pm on Friday evening.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "At around 11.30pm on Friday, October 18 a 35-year-old man was arrested for shouting, swearing and behaving in a disorderly manner on Bank Street, Irvine.
"He was held custody to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on October 21."
