Irvine Incorporated Trades got together for the annual Big Pie last week.
Members of the seven crafts, the Weavers, Tailors, Skinners, Coopers, Hammermen, Cordiners and the Wrights and Squaremen met for the big gathering in the Volunteer Rooms on Saturday, October 19 after each Trade held their individual Wee Pies earlier in the month.
The incorporation’s annual dinner is held at the end of October every year and was newly-elected Deacon Convenor Gordon Craig’s first official duty after his kirking earlier in the month.
Members and guests enjoyed the formal dinner with entertainment followed by Toasts and replies to the Royal Burgh, Deacon Convenors Court, guests and the clergy.
