Ayrshire Spanish teacher Amy Bell has been honoured with a fantastic five gongs at a prestigious awards ceremony.

Over more than a decade, the What’s On 4 Kids Awards have been celebrating the UK’s most exceptional clubs and classes as nominated and voted for by the experts – parents and carers. This year parents and carers cast a massive 80,000 votes and Kidslingo was crowned a ‘Most Loved’ winner in five categories.

Not only did Kidslingo win the UK’s overall Most Loved Creative and Academic Activity, but Amy was officially the winner in the Most Loved Activity Leader in Scotland and Northern Ireland category. She received the most overall votes by parents and carers in that category and received their award at the glittering ceremony on October 11 hosted by NatWest.

Amy and her team run many Spanish classes across the Ayrshire region teaching over 300 children per week aged 0-11 years in venues, schools and nurseries.

Kidslingo’s whole approach to language learning is centred around fun and play with topics ranging from superheroes to under the sea, wild animal adventures to circus performers. The innovative Kidslingo programme combines songs, games, Makaton, storytelling and drama.

Amy said: “I still can’t believe it! A huge gracias to everyone who took the time to vote – so proud to bring this award back to Ayrshire. My tutors, Lorna and Stephanie and I absolutely love bringing Spanish to so many little linguists.”

Anna Neville, Kidslingo CEO & Founder said: “Amy is a huge credit to the Kidslingo business. Her hard work, dedication and passion for inspiring young children to learn languages is second to none. Clearly her customers adore her classes and this award is so well deserved.”
