Irvine’s Burns Bar will go back up for auction after the popular venue failed to get any bids.

The Burns Bar and Restaurant, which shut its doors earlier in the year, is offered at a guide price of £105,000, reduced from £425,000, with auctioneers saying it ‘must be sold’.

With no bids for the popular haunt last week the Burns – much missed by Irvine ravers – will go back up for action in December.

Auctioneers say the three-storey freehold commercial property benefits from an ‘excellent trading location directly across from The Portal’.

The property, which offers a public bar, lounge bar, restaurant/function room with kitchen and upstairs nightclub, is to be auctioned on December 3 at 7pm at the Glasgow Radisson Hotel.
