The Cunninghame Ramblers’ next outing will be a hill walk at Lang Craigs (Dumbarton) on Saturday, November 2.
The walk is about seven miles long and takes in an ascent of Doughnut Hill (374m).
Some parts may be muddy and slippy but participants will see stunning views of the Firth of Clyde and Loch Lomond. The leader’s phone number is 01294 233486.
On Sunday, November 3 there will be an afternoon walk starting at 1.30pm from the car park on the North Shore along to Portencross and back. The leader’s phone number is 07584 027423.
On Tuesday, November 5 the walk will be up to Baidland Hill and the wind turbines at Dalry. The walk is around eight miles on country roads, tracks and some moorland and Baidland Hill stands at 280m. The leader’s phone number is 01294 278272.
The starting point for departing on the 1st and 3rd walks will be the Caledonian Car park off East Road in Irvine. Participants are advised to arrive in good time for a prompt departure at 9.15am. The Sunday afternoon walk will depart from the 1st car park on the North Shore Road between Ardrossan and Seamill at 1.30pm.
