A TOP musical duo will be the next guests performing in Irvine’s Wellwood Centre.
The next concert takes place on Wednesday, October 30 in the Wellwood Burns Centre and Museum which will feature The Buchanan Duo.
Guitarist Kenny Cormack and violinist Rachael Smart present an evening of classical music featuring new arrangements of Frederic Chopin and the lesser known nocturnes of Johann Burgmüller.
Exploring a range of styles and influences from Pujol’s Latin American rhythms to Poulenc’s French Impressionism, the Duo offer an exciting evening of musical discovery.
The Buchanan Duo was formed in 2015 by Royal Conservatoire of Scotland alumni Kenny Cormack and Rachael Smart.
Over the past four years they have been working together to bring live music of the highest quality to audiences across Scotland.
The concert starts at 7.30 pm. Tickets cost £10 payable at the door. Includes interval refreshments.
