Irvine and Kilwinning residents turned in force for their annual Remembrance Sunday services.

Residents lined the streets to pay their respects to the fallen as the Royal British Legion and other groups processed through Irvine and Kilwinning town centres.

Irvine groups and individuals gathered at the Post Office before the procession made its way to Irvine’s Old Parish Church for the annual service.

The parade then made it’s way to the Townhouse for the service at the War Memorial conducted by Rev Neil Urquhart.

Kilwinning's parade proceeded to the cenotaph under instruction of the parade master CSM Tom Brisbane before the annual service by Rev John Gillies.

The Royal British Legion thanked everyone for turning out for Remembrance, and thanks go to the Legion members for organising the day.
