Golfers got swinging to raise money for a local charity with their annual competition day.
Moorpark Golf Club, based at Auchernharvie Golf Complex in Stevenston, donated £1,670 to Ayrshire SANDS on Friday, November 15.
The charity, which is a voluntary group run by bereaved parents and grandparents, offers support to anyone affected by the loss of a baby.
Tom Armstrong, club treasurer and secretary, said: “We try to choose a local charity and one of our members had to use SANDS’ services a few years ago which is why it was nominated.”
Players from all over participated in the four-man team event with Robert Cruickshanks bagging the top trophy.
