Residents got into the Christmas spirit on Sunday at Irvine's annual light Switch-on.
Irvine Voice star Craig Forsyth sang some sensational festive songs at the show joining a great selection of local entertainers.
BBC’s All Together Now singer/songwriter Laura B gave an exceptional performance after Murray Gee Mac got people dancing with his pal Brucie the Bear alongside.
Revellers also enjoyed lots of fun fair rides, quality food stalls and lots of gifts from Santa for youngsters
This year, council manager Jim McHarg did the honours of switching on the lights, to mark his retirement after 30 years at North Ayrshire Council.
He said: “I want to say a wee thank you because these things don’t happen themselves, they’re organised by volunteers, people who do it for free and do it for you, a big thank you to them.”
Irvine Special Events Forum said a huge thank you to everyone who turned out and braved the cold for the big night.
