THEY have done it again – the brilliant charity campaigning father and son team of Michael Kirkum and Michael Kirkum Jr have donated a massive amount of selection boxes and gifts to Crosshouse Hospital through their annual appeal.

The Kilwinning pair, who have supported the hospital at Christmas and Easter time for a number of years, went above and beyond once again and topped all previous efforts as they managed to collect a record number of items.

This included over 800 selection boxes, 150 activity books, 20 colouring books, 20 baby rattles and 10 board games with a total cash value of over £3,000.

It would not be possible for the guys to get everything without the support of many local businesses and people and the Kirkums would like to thank Asda Cafe, Irvine, Billy Frew, Shuttle Buses, Alex and Karen Burns, Paul Stevenson, Alan Simm, George Taggart, On fire driving school and KK Contracts.

Well done to the Kirkums from everyone at Ayrshire Weekly Press.
