Bricklaying students have been getting into the festive spirit in Kilwinning.
Students currently completing a City and Guilds Certificate in Bricklaying (Level 4) at Ayrshire College have been spreading the Christmas cheer by creating festive brick statues.
The students built snowman statues and a selection of Christmas trees.
Bricklaying (Level 4) is one of Ayrshire College’s more hands on courses which gives the students a great introduction to the crucial skill of bricklaying.
Students focus on the two main areas of how to build a wall and how to lay a path as well as learning about all the various aspects of working successfully on a building site.
